To support you in your first five months of volunteering with the Scouts we have a number of training modules for you to complete. You can complete these in any order.
With the exception of Tools for the Role (03) the modules
can be completed as independent learning and validated by successfully completing the online assessment at the end of the module. Tools for the Role (03) must be validated by a training adviser, if you are not sure who they are, speak to your volunteer line manager.

Programme Planning provides section leaders with an opportunity to plan and review a sectional programme including the use of a variety of methods to generate programme ideas.
This module covers ways in which an adult volunteering with a section can assist their line manager and others to plan for and contribute to the growth of their section and/or group.
